Today we heard about a little tennis tournament going on called Wimbledon. So we decided to go check it out! We ended up "queuing" for about 5 hours to get a ticket inside. But it was a nice day and how often does someone get the chance to go to Wimbledon?! So we after waiting for a long time we finally got tickets inside and watched some really good tennis. We even saw Venus and Serena Williams for a little bit. We ended up watching a match on court 5 which had people we didn't recognize but none the less it was still great tennis! We are super exhausted from the heat and sun but overall it was definitely worth it! Here are some pictures and video from that...

ReplyDeletehaha, nana queuing 5 hours to hear elvis...and that reminds me of the sad news of the day with michael jackson. the bbc has been covering that story almost constantly and i am sure it's the same over in the states. and i am glad to hear david is in a nice place!
ReplyDeleteand josh throughout that day i kept thinking about you and i would have loved to have you there to enjoy the experience with us. my brothers are tennis fans but not nearly as much as you! if you ever make it out to london just come during wimbledon...it isn't terribly difficult to get tickets so long as you are willing to wait and see some players you probably haven't heard of.

Well you guys make me laugh every day!! These are memories you will have forever, if you don't kill each other in the process......but it sounds as though you will make good tour guides, if anyone ever wants to repeat your journey----are you picking our honeymoon spots?
